Marriage Classes
A lasting marriage, like a house, must be built on a good foundation. Some marriages begin to sway and shake when the foundations on which they were built are not as strong and sturdy as needed. We provide ongoing, independent studies designed to help couples evaluate and strengthen their relationship and work together toward a great marriage. Both married and engaged couples are welcome and encouraged to register and attend. In a positive and fun learning environment, couples will discover the answers to important questions to ask before and after marriage. Couples will also be encouraged to apply what they learn each week and make themselves accountable to each other.
Boundaries: When To Say Yes, How To Say No, To Take Control Of Your Life
Boundaries is a class for adults who are seeking to take control of their lives and find a happy, healthy, balanced existence. It will help to answer questions such as "How do I respond to someone who is trying to take advantage of my time, love, energy, or money?" or "Can I set limits and still be a loving person?" We will discuss how to set healthy boundaries with your parents, spouses, friends, co-workers, and even yourself. You may discover destructive patterns from the family you grew up in, unhealthy relationships, addictive behavior, codependency, and you may be challenged to accept personal responsibility and ownership in order to experience new freedom. Class materials are available at the bookstore prior to the first meeting.
Financial Peace University
Financial Peace University is a 9-week program that will empower and teach you how to make the right money decisions to achieve your financial goals and God's plan for your life. It takes knowledge from God found in the Bible and translates it into real action in our lives through a step-by-step process. This class is taught via video by best-selling author and financial counselor Dave Ramsey and facilitated by members of The Cove’s Financial Freedom Ministry Team.
The course includes practical lessons on eliminating debt, building wealth, giving like never before, and much, much more!
