Cove Class 201: Developing My Spiritual Life
|

Spiritual growth and vitality come through the Christian’s personal effort in cooperation with the indwelling Holy Spirit. Maturing into Christ-likeness and growing deeper in one’s relationship with God is something the Christ-follower must work toward. The Bible presents several spiritual exercises that help us achieve these goals. The aim of this class is to introduce you to these exercises and help you understand how each one strengthens your spiritual life.

A lasting marriage, like a house, must be built on a good foundation. Some marriages begin to sway and shake when the foundations on which they were built are not as strong and sturdy as needed. Marriage Foundations is a class to help couples evaluate and strengthen their relationship and work together toward a great marriage. Both married and engaged couples are welcome and encouraged to register and attend. In a positive and fun learning environment, couples will discover answers concerning seven important questions to ask before and after marriage. Couples will also be encouraged to apply what they learn each week and make themselves accountable to each other.
This class is seven weeks long for couples who are married or engaged for the first time, and nine weeks long for those who have been married before.
The next Marriage Foundations will be held in the fall of 2010.
