GriefShare
New Session beginning in January
If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. GriefShare is a seminar and support group for people grieving the loss of someone close. This group is sponsored by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time.
The new session begins January 17 and continues through April 17.

What to Expect
Each GriefShare session includes a video seminar featuring top experts on grief and recovery subjects. These videos also include on-location video and the reallife stories of people who have experienced losses like yours. You are welcome to begin attending the GriefShare group at any session. Each is “self-contained,” so that you do not have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin.
Support Groups
After viewing the video, you’ll participate in a small group discussion about what you’ve seen on the DVD. You’ll also have the opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a recent loss, learn about their experiences and have the opportunity to share your own.
Hearts in Healing for Kids
A children's program is now available for children in grades kindergarten through 5th. Hearts in Healing for Kids is a specialized support group with hands-on activities for children that have lost a parent, sibling, grandparent, friend or other close relative. Children grieve differently than adults. When their hands are busy, their defenses are lowered and it becomes easier to share their stories. Healing Hearts for Kids meets at the same time as GriefShare.
The new session begins January 17 and continues through April 17.
