Rec Sports @ The Cove

The Cove Church offers different types of recreational sports programs for anyone interested in joining the fun! Becoming involved in one of our many programs is a great way to get to know others that attend The Cove.

Adult Sports

The Cove's adult sports program includes soccer, softball, flag football, basketball, and volleyball. This program strives to represent God and our church in such a way that those we play with or compete against are drawn to Christ through our actions and will want to know more about how they can get connected to Christ and His church.

 Youth Sports

Catch The WAVE Athletic Association for children in the community-ages 5-12 years old. We focus on building a child's character in a faith-based atmosphere-reinforcing sound values such as integrity,teamwork and perseverance. Our coaches strive to build a strong foundation in every child with age-appropriate fundamentals that build self-esteem and confidence. The WAVE youth sports program includes T-Ball, softball,baseball, soccer, basketball, and football. Freestyle Activities

Look for a variety of coordinated activities throughout the year such as golf, mountain biking, aerobics, walking, hiking, wake boarding, and much more. Activities will be advertised in Cove CURRENTS, our monthly newsletter, on the web calendar, or in the weekend service program. If you are interested in organizing an activity or trip, let us know!

Play or Serve

Serving as a coach or freestyle coordinator is a great way to get involved. Our Recreational Sports Program is always looking for individuals interested in leading others in fun and discipleship. If you are interested in playing a sport or serving on our ministry team, please fill out a communication card on a weekend program and someone will contact you to answer any questions you may have.

Current Sporting Events:

• Spring Women's Softball - Cost $40.00
• We will be participating in the Women's "Competitive" league, all USSSA Rules and Regulations will apply.
• Game and Team Information:
• Once you have paid you will be assigned to a team and will be contacted by your coach no later than April 14th.
• Practice schedules are TBA
• Game Locations TBA (First Game May 5th)
• All teams will play 10 regular season games
• All teams will participate in a double elimination post season tournament
