HOPE Tutoring

 

HOPE Tutoring is centered around providing an opportunity to build into the lives of children in our community, giving them the tools they need to reach their hopes and dreams. During our tutoring sessions, we have the opportunity to share a Bible lesson on specific character traits, and tutor children on their homework, specifically in the areas of math and reading.

 

During each session, we have an hour with the kids. We spend the first few minutes playing, chatting and creating relationships, work through a short Cove Kids lesson together, and then spend the remainder of the time helping with homework, extra help or reading. We also have the opportunity to provide a healthy snack for the kids while we are there.

Note: Hope Tutoring is on a summer break. This program will resume in September 2016 as kids head back to school.
