Help Haywood County Families Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

Join Us in Supporting Haywood County Families

Hurricane Helene has left a lasting impact on Western North Carolina and Haywood County, devastating homes with severe flooding and mold. Many families are now without a place to call home. Together, we can help bring hope back to the families who are in desperate need of a safe place to live.

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, several families were left with no choice but to start over.

The Cove Church in partnership with other WNC churches and Clayton Homes have come together to help these families re-build by purchasing new mobile homes.

Among the hardest hit of those in WNC are the Hernandez and the Raya Ramirez families, both of whom live near a small creek in Canton. When Hurricane Fred flooded their homes in 2021, they faced major repairs, but when Hurricane Helene came three years later, the homes were engulfed again, leaving devastating levels of mold and irreparable damage.

After multiple floods, the homes are now uninhabitable. Together we can help these families return to new homes!
